1. Brand Origin: From the Spirit of the Worker

The technological foundation of SmHe Precision Machinery can be traced back to 1991. At that time, the former generation of the founding team worked in a professional grinder manufacturing company, and had been engaged in the manufacturing, processing and grinding technology of centerless grinders for a long time. Their philosophy was simple and firm: "To concentrate on one thing for a lifetime and make it the best it can be".
This belief has become the core value of SmHe Precision to come all the way to today.

For more than 30 years, we have been working in the field of Centerless Grinder, from machine body, machining program, feed control, tool correction, process stabilization, to fully automated production line integration, we have been involved and accumulated field experience. We not only make equipment, but also know how to make equipment bring stable size, yield and productivity to production.

At present, we serve customers in many countries and industries all over the world, including: Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Thailand, Singapore, India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, Korea and other markets, from precision components to mass production lines, all of them have SmH Precision's participation.


2. The core of the technology: Complete solutions from grinding machines to dressing systems.

SmH Precision focuses on the "Usability" and "Reproducibility" of Centerless Grinder in the actual manufacturing process. In order to satisfy the needs of different industries, different materials and different shapes of workpieces, we have developed a multi-series of models, including:

  • NC / CNC Centerless Grinder Series
    It is equipped with control functions such as automatic sand trimming, automatic molding, and automatic compensation to ensure stable dimensions for each batch, reduce manual reliance, and improve yield and efficiency.
  • Roller Dressing Diamond Mechanism(Specialized for CBN, diamond grinding wheels)
    For high hardness, high life grinding wheels (e.g. CBN, diamond grinding wheels), traditional dressing methods are often inefficient and short-lived. We have designed a specialized roller dressing and diamond structure to provide a fast, stable and repeatable dressing method, so that customers can really take advantage of the advantages of super-hard grinding wheels.
  • Forming Diamond Wheel Dressing Machine(for general grinding wheels, complex shapes)
    When the shape of workpiece is not pure diameter, but multi-section diameter, bevel angle, R angle, special contour, the dressing efficiency often determines the overall production efficiency. SmH Precision's self-developed Forming & Dressing System can quickly form complex geometries on grinding wheels, shorten the preparation time and maintain the machining consistency at the same time.

This is not just a "machine specification", but a set of "process weapons". What the customer gets is not a machine, but an on-site solution that can be immediately put into mass production with stable tolerance control.


3. Automation Solutions: Custom Integration, Follow Your Artifacts

Modern manufacturing is not only to grind small size, but also to stabilize, speed up and minimize manpower. SmH Precision has been standing on the same side with customers in automation integration for a long time, designing for real workpieces, actual tempo, upstream and downstream processes, instead of just selling a set of standard answers.

The automated solutions we offer include:

  • Automatic grinding system for long bars
    Suitable for continuous machining of long bar materials, supporting Ø3 ~ Ø100mm diameters and lengths from 3 meters to 6 meters. The system can maintain straightness and dimensional stability during feeding, positioning, supporting and grinding of long bars, especially suitable for high consistency mass production of long shafts, guide rods, hydraulic cylinder rods and other products.
  • Infeed / Plunge) Grinding Automation
    The workpiece is positioned and then fed into the tool, targeting a single piece or multiple diameters for fixed-point grinding, which is suitable for complex shapes or parts requiring multiple dimensions, such as automobile and motorcycle parts, precision fixtures, and medical machining parts. It can be integrated with clamping, positioning, dressing, measuring and even pick & place mechanisms to achieve automation.
  • Standard Thru-Feed(Grinding) Linearization
    For through-feed grinding of large quantities of continuous parts, the integration of feeding module, discharging/straightening, inspection, and rewinding emphasizes the stability of the beat and the ability to operate continuously for 24 hours.
  • Customized overall planning based on workpieces
    In many cases, there are no ready-made machines that can be directly applied. We will discuss with the customer to come up with a real automation solution according to the customer's workpiece material (e.g. carbon fiber, tungsten steel, high carbon steel, alloy steel, heat-treated parts, etc.), dimensional requirements, and allowable concentricity/roundness/straightness, etc. We will deliver a complete set of automation solutions, from fixtures, clamping, feeding, and trimming logics, to compensation strategies.

4. 30+Years of experience brings not only equipment, but judgment.

At the grinding site, many problems appear to be "machine problems", but in reality, they are "wrong matching of accessories", "lack of clamping rigidity", "incorrect support angle", "dressing method not suitable for the current grinding wheel", "incorrect logic of tool feed rate and discharge compensation" - these on-site details often determine the yield rate.

SmH Precision is very familiar with and has achievements in the following aspects during more than 30 years of actual grinding, testing, improvement and re-testing:

  • How the angle, material, and shape of the tool plate/support holder affects the contact between the workpiece support and the grinding line.
  • Reaction of different grinding wheel materials (generally WA / GC, CBN, diamond) on different workpiece materials.
  • Efficiency of coordination between wheel flanges, dressing mechanisms, clamping fixtures, feed and take-up units.
  • How to use the right options to shorten setup time, increase size repeatability, and reduce operation difficulty.
